This artwork refers to the unity and the separation of the elements of earth and water at the same time. This is symbolically shown by the chosen dominant colors of each of the diptych canvas as well as by the devision into halves. Even though they are separated like yin and yang, together they are an inseparable part. What seems to separete them pulls them together with even greater fors. The painting is created by the technique of exclusion and has a lot of overlays as well as interesting effects.
